Styling The 2006 XJ maintains its renowned character, with a few essential updates: the elimination of body side moldings for a cleaner line; flush, acoustic laminated windshield and side glass that reduces wind noise;  and distinctively elegant new mesh grilles.       Wheel Styles • XJ8 and XJ8L come with standard 18-in. Sabre wheels • XJR and Super V8 are available with 20-in. optional Sepang wheels        Park Control Reverse Park Control (standard) and Front Park Control (standard on XJR and Super V8) use ultrasonic sensors in the bumpers to audibly detect unseen obstacles when parking. Rain Sensing Wipers  Rain-sensing Wipers automatically sense precipitation and adjust their speed and operation accordingly. When wipers are activated with the headlamps set in automatic mode, lights activate as well.
